Whether it's women who need to be fitted properly, or others with varying body types, the truth is, if PPE doesn't fit properly, it is not protective, and even makes it MORE dangerous for the person wearing it. We at Juno Jones Safety Boots along with many of our colleagues in the safety space, celebrate this OSHA notice of proposed rulemaking, which will clarify its PPE standard for construction, stating that PPE must fit properly. We hope this new clarification will raise awareness about the need for women's PPE among other things, and send the message to employers of the long documented importance of proper fitting gear!
